A bit off topic sorry, but I do know that there are seasoned PCB fixers on here and I am a bit stuck.
I have a Sony ST-SE700 tuner that has a problem. It intermittently loses any FM signal (on either of its two FM tuners) and the audio out is then background hiss and the screen displays no signal - the aerial input works fine on another radio. I've taken the FM tuner can cover off and have re-soldered the components within but the problem persists. I am now thinking that the problem is somewhere else although I do know it is only an FM problem.
Any suggestions please? Thanks!
