Noticed there wasn't a high score topic for Space Fever so since I have one I thought I'd create one. Maybe someone can add all the fancy graphics or point me to the files and I'll add it. Done, thanks.

Anyway, here is my scores so far.

Game A - 1650 2370 2930

Game B - 1980 2000 2910

Game C - 3580 5050 9090

I think some guys on here have this game so would be interested to know what a good score for each game is.

Original Hardware, Dip switch are set to A0/B0/C0/D0/E1/F0/G0/H0

Thanks. Increased Game B to 2000 and C to 5050 last night.

Game A is a beast. Cant get past the 1st screen now.

Game B its tough to avoid the bombs as you have to move back and forth quite a lot.

Game C is the easiest up to the 3rd screen. I've managed to shoot on the last row once but I'm too slow on the last shot.

13k is insane!

Yeah we had a bit of competition going on Game C - the traditional Space Invaders pattern. From memory my high was 13,700. It's all about the saucers!

So now I have a problem....I'm addicted to this game!

Last night I increased my scores on all three.

Game A to 2370

Game B to 2910 and

Game C to 9090!

It is tough but so rewarding when you clear the screen. I agree, the saucers hold the key!

I guess I have a quest for 10K now!

I'll take you up on that challenge David. Would be happy to break 5k on Game - A. It certainly is a challenge!

So, looks like for Game A - 8800 - Alex (Chuckie Egg)
Game B - ?????

Game C - 13700 - TonyT (aeroflott)

4230 on Game B....I would say out of the 3 game types, 3 is the toughest, as it adds another line, etc. any normal strategy is out the window and you need to hit an invader almost every time.

A few UFOs help, however harder to hit due to the way the formation deploys...the bullets rain down at a fast rate also!!! This game is certainly tougher than the original Space Invaders.

Alex - was the 8800 Game C?
i.e. the 'normal' SI patten.

I notice on the attract screen it is a little mis-leading as it keeps the last player score, but rotates for A..C showing the 'top' score for each.

I noticed it did that. It's good for me as I can coin up a load of games, play the games then when I'm done, take a picture of each of the attract screens to get my top score on each. I don't have to worry about taking a picture after every game where I think I might have a higher score.

Anyone know if there is a way to save the high scores for this game? High score kit?

It would have been the normal space invaders clone I was playing mate can't remember if that's game a,b,c
Shame I can't join you on this challenge as I have two waiting to be repaired.
