Checked it out on YouTube and it looked interesting and saw that there was a free demo as well. Gave it a try and its good fun, so I bought the game on Steam. It's £12.79 currently.
You get a normal fire and a charged up punch for enemies and bullets that get too close to you. There is also a slowdown mechanic as well for help when there are too many bullets on screen to easily.
Also there is an option for "Ex Gear", that seemed to add either a mech suit, a sword or something else into the mix. I tried that briefly, but was happy playing the game without that (choose No when the game asks you for "Ex Gear" that to start out with. Also, this option only appears in the full game and not in the demo). I'll probably mess about with that later.
There is also a branching path system, where you get to choose the next level that you want to play. Apparently there are 28 different stages to play.
Anyway, thought it was worth posting this here as I'm sure there are a few of us here that will enjoy this.
