lol
this is a substantial jamma boardset - it's not from a kiddie ride video screen :D
i thought it could be a rename of "undercover cops" but untill i bother to pull some roms i wont know

I had a quick look for a booty of Undercover cops also!
Another thought is that it could be a Chase HQ or SCI booty? I wasn't aware there were any on those either.

Probably Super Cup or you found an unreleased Korean platformer?

Usually for me they turn out to be some obscure hack/bootleg from a company like PlayMark.

well the rom stickers are the usual siver or red with a number on them :(
it's 100% NOT chase hq or sci - i have those in my collection and it has nowhere near enough chips on it ;)

i'll pull it out again tomorrow and post a picture - then get the desoldering station on and pull some roms.

Pretty nice to find it's a sys16 bootleg! What a shame the eproms are ruddy soldered. That's nuts given how many of them there are!
I took a look at the e-swat bootleg. So wierd the label said Super Cops - even the bootleg has ESWAT as the title screen logo.

well next time i do a cpc order i'll get a couple of tubes of 32pin sockets and see if all the roms are known.
it's a terrible pcb - these korean bootlegs always are.
mask / windowles roms, holes not even lined up with the pads when you remove the chips,
chips not even fully down when they soldered them.

i have probably a dozen different boards from the same ghost-factory - always the same build quality

during a moment of insanity i desoldered around 27 chips!
i'll clean the pins and try to read them next.
one thing stands out - if this is a system16 clone, why does it have a motorola 68705 MCU on it???
you know damn well i'm gonna try to read that out!
it's very close to the 68000 - be very interesting if the MCU is decrypting the original roms!

update.

it *was* an undumped game,
similar to another bootleg but some different roms,
AND none of the pals were protected, so i have full dumps.
cant dump the 68705 microcontroller - it's designed to not be read!

i'm now working out the rom mapping because mame doesnt seem to be doing it right on the other bootlegs - which may be why they dont all run.

I need to do the Operation Wolf bootleg as it's not in mame with Operation Wolf Logo, just the Operation Bear booty, again all soldered in

it's not too bad if you have a ZD915 or similar and some flux and a small brush.
if you brush flux - very thin amount, onto the pins on the component side of the board,
when you melt the solder from the underside it will all suck through and not leave lumps on the i.c. pins to remove later.
