Hi all, just wondering if anyone here has any experience in making reproductions carts of games that didn't get a PAL release, or even some games which have now been fan translated.
I know most/all can be played via emulation but its nice to have a cart sometimes.

Also understand the FX /DSP games are more difficult, but there plenty of clever guys here with the know-how or equipment.

Any help appreicated.

Not quite what you’re looking for maybe but I must admit I’ve bought a few AliX SNES repros having cleared out much of my 30 year SNES/SFC collection. The cart (hardware/shell) is 99.9% as per OEM and the seller was happy to put together custom carts for me from whatever ROMs I asked, ie a nice Tintin compilation etc.

This was the guy, super helpful - he even did some labels for me, not the best repros but I like my own white label 'prototype' for a bit of fun. ;)

IIRC I had the Tintins on separate carts but he did a Final Fight compliation for me too.

A decent multicart will do most of the chip sets these days I have this one here after a lot of research.
For snes/famicom I think the sd2snes is more than adequate, for my megadrive I use a everdrive as the price is ok on the one without all the bells and whistles.

SD2SNES Rev. X Version Pro

  • With saving function; Custom game card shell, fit for all USA/EUR/Japan consoles;
  • Support most special chip games; Support user add or delete games;
  • The new version - Rev X Pro version board, make in China;
  • Directories are sorted automatically, no need for FAT sorting tools;
  • High resolution menu (512×224) for adequate display of long file names;
  • Supports ROM size up to 128MBit (96Mbit actually implemented);
  • Automatic near-time SRAM saving to micro SD Card;
  • Enhancement chip support (see below for implementation status);
  • SuperCIC key (SNES CIC clone):

BS-X memory map / Satellaview base unit registers (clock)
