I think you can use Xbox controllers.
Some people can't afford or have the space to buy a full size cab so make do with consolized versions.Well that makes it pointless.
How many times will this question be asked LOL ?
The X3Multi Sucks Anyway.
I have it hooked up to the TV via hdmi unfortunately the artax multi on the hdd only accepts JVS, I can control the menu using an xbox 360 controller on usb but as soon as I load a game I have no controls, I have hooked it up to a supergun using a sega jvs and this works to some degree but jamma so only 4 buttons

MP07-IONA-US JVS Interface v3.11 / Firmware v2.22
The MP07-IONA-US is created by Mellow PCB from Japan. It is a small board that allows for the direct connection of USB gamepads and sticks to JVS based arcade systems. JVS systems are generally equipped with a power supply, video and audio outputs already. Usually you would need to hook up a I/O...www.candycabclub.com
Cheers Tony, I have done this but I am trying to get away from setting controls on each game, I have just bought a fast I/O with a jamma edge hopefully this will do the job.go into explorer , add a keyboard and mouse and on the different you should be able to bind the buttons to your controller
Thanks for the help is something I will look into if the fast I/O and supergun dont workIts possible to remap all the controls as I had a few issues with my TX3 & so just use a normal pc motherboard with the multi & a JVS-PAC 2 which converts the JVS into 3 pc keyboards.
Only thing you might get issues with if using the multi on a OLED tv as older games like Street fighter suffers from frame skip.
