[ukvac] Tech help - 1942 and Hantarex Power Supply
Hi all,
2 things today,

First of all does anyone have schematics for a 1942 board, or know
why the 1p, 2p and coin switches don't work - i've got it running by
setting it to free play, and connecting the 1p start directly to a leg
of one of the chips (cant remember off hand which one) it works,
but if i push the 1p start for too long it screws up the sound.
I don't think its a grounding problem, as all the grounds are
connected internally on the board, and are again connected on my
fingerboard, so all the grounds on the board are connected to all
the grounds in my cab.

Secondly i'm trying to fix Keith Priestly's cab for him, the power
supply has burnt out, but it looks like an easy fix. Does anyone
have a set of schematics for a Hantarex US250 power supply, or at
the very least know what an equivalent thyristor is to a TYP 212. I
cant find it in Farnell, RS, maplin or anywhere on the net :(

I'm guessing a TYP 1012 might do at a push, but id like someone
in the know to give me a second opinion.

Cheers
Gav
