Help! I cannot find any doccumentation for the NAMCO Mappy board.

I have a RAM6 error. Where is RAM6 ? I have done all the obvious (clean and
re-socket and swap around the board any socketed rams ... but to no avail)

I'm pretty sure the board is identical (more or less...) to Galaga, maybe
the documentation for that might help???

Funny you should say that!!!!! Due to the ram6 fault( i think ) rather then
displaying mappy wizzing all over the screen during the self test (as a
healthy board will do) mine has galaga sprites wizzing all over the board. I
am asuming that the galaga sprites are in the mappy roms for some reason as
the roms are original bally/midway and the board is un-modified

Upon inspection there is no "RAM6" on a galaga board

I have two fully working Namco Mappys here. If it can wait until later
then perhaps I can remove the socketed rams one at a time and see which
is which for you if it helps?
