[ukvac] TECH: Testing B+W boards on a colour monitor
Hi Guys ....

How can I test a boardset that just gives out B+W signals on a colour monitor?
(in this case a midway SI board on the JAMMA friendly Cub on my test bench)

On many, if not al B+W boarsds Ive come across, if you trace the video
output back through the circuit, it will hit a pair of resistors or
other cheap summing device. Before this, you should have raw sync and
video signals, connect "video" to the RGB colour of your choice, and
sync to sync :) it should work.
