[ukvac] TECH1: Hantarex monitor
I've done nowt on my JAMMA cab for over a year due to the birth of a
baby son ;-)
I've got a hantarex (9000 I think) which isn't very well and I need some
top tips to fix it.
Picture is OK except at the right and left hand vertical margins the
picture is squeezed towards the centre of the screen and then returns to
normal size. The amount of movement decreases the nearer the vertical
is to the centre of the screen.
So if you compare the screen to a XY graph with the origin at the
centre:
Where x is at the max at the -ve and +ve ends the whole of the y
coordinates are wobbling along the x axis. i.e.at (0,0) everything is
OK at (-max, [-max to +max]) big wobble in +x direction and same for
(+max, [-max to +max]) in -x direction.
Hope that makes sense?
Anyone got any ideas? I'm assuming the fix is a replacement cap job on
the monitor but I've got no idea which ones and their location. Can
anyone list all the caps and their location? - I could replace the lot.
Asumming it is a cap fix, of course
