Like a klang around the head with a wok, our new podcast is ready to hit your earwaves. Beware the Alans! They mostly come at night. Mostly. Available at http://tenpencearcade.co.uk/ and iTuna.

Another great podcast chaps, quite like the "live on the fly" effect when you are both in the same room recording.

I hadn't realised you were still after a monitor, if Rich is happy to let you have the one that I gave him, that's cool.

I may have to check out the Primark range, although I hate going in that place, always so busy, was it a coincidence Mr Holly had 10 Pence change left over from his power spend there!! that's the right amount of change for this podcast :)

I like the idea of other's pick up shout outs, aside the monitor pick ups at the weekend, also got 24:7 (strykr's) album on CD in the post today, I think you played a track 2 podcast back, its an awesome album.

In terms of Aliens, I quite liked the game on the Amiga/Snes/Megadrive back in the day, but was not a fan of the Trilogy version on the PS1. I did have the Konami PCB and credited my way through it just to get to the end, it was alright, but a bit boring from what I remember. I think I sold it for £30 when I was done, probably worth a bit more nowadays I am sure.

So who was the 2nd room service person!! First being Alex, but the 2nd?

Keep it up :)

Yeah I like the idea of listeners pick ups too.
Happy to chuck my revival ones out there, as I got a few things this year amidst the entire blur of the event itself

I've been decorating my new arcade shed and have loved listening to recent TenPence Podcasts while working in there. Cheers Victor and Shaun!

Eh up Vic and Shaun...

Great to see you both at Revival - what a great event that was! My first time at Revival. Unfortunately due to other commitments it had to be a flying visit but hopefully I will make it for the full weekend next year.

There was just one disappointment that day... when I clocked the drums and guitars on the stage I was convinced that the 10 Pence Orchestra would be performing live.... but sadly it was not to be... just some dodgy Indy band... Joking apart - I had a quick chat with them (The British IBM) - they seemed good guys & the CD I picked up is really good...

I would love to know more about the home made Iced Cold Beer - that was amazing!

4 cabs really stood out that weekend... The amazing Enduro Racer restoration, Alex's Sherriff (I have been keen to play that for years) and the Bomb Jack & Q Bert twins! Vic you did a superb job on the Q Bert - looked and played superb.

But that's not to take anything away from all the other cabs, consoles, developers etc... really great event. Thanks to everyone that helped make it happen.

And a HUGE thank you to Mr Vic for my pick-up... it will soon be with Mark at Retro clinic for an intensive conversion!

Lastly... completely off topic... sort of... I was watching Reggie Yates Extreme South Africa last night... he spent a week with the "Prophet Mboro" - a charismatic yet controversial church leader. All I can say is google "Prophet Mboro biscuit" and the 10 Pence fixation with "biscuits" takes on a whole new meaning.

Hi guys.

Great episode, I like it when you guys are recording together as it adds an air of unpredictability and a different humour to the recording!

Still gutted i missed Revival but will definitely be there next year.

Listener pick ups sounds good. I'll have a tale to tell soon enough.

Raiden is a game i was looking forward to playing, but at first I didn't like it, mainly the power up system and if you die on a boss, you go back to mid level, lose your powerups and return to a fully restored boss, making it very difficult to progress.

But then it started to click, the powerups are ok, you just have to wait your time to collect on the right colour. The boss patterns are constant so you can learn where to position. It reeks of old school shooters and i love it.

Tarnished slightly this week by the many many differering iterations but that aside I will keep this one on my favourite list.

Anyone coming to Play Glasgow?
