7.30 am recording??? That is dedication to the cause and I salute you both!
I have been away for a couple of weeks in South East Asia and downloaded 119 using the hotel's wi-fi. Or at least I thought that's what I had done, until the download was interrupted by a warning text from Tesco mobile advising that my entire safety buffer has been used up.... yep - I had mobile data switched on and the download had actually cost me £5 per MB! Ouch!!!! So have I set the record of paying the most (just shy of 90 quid) to listen to a single episode? Imagine how many biscuits I could have bought with that... I can only be thankful that it wasn't one of your marathon 3 hour episodes!
Didn't find too much in the way of video games whilst away but on the last day discovered a place called Hero City in Bangkok. Mainly rhythm, dance and driving games... JuBeats a plenty but the most popular game was something called MaiMai from Sega - the local kids all wore gloves to play it, presumably to provide cushioning and help alleviate arcade fingers??
The funniest game to watch was Dance Evolution - first time I have seen a motion sensor dance game... Arcade Club have to get one of those - hilarious to watch but no way I was going to have a go!
Despite the big hole in my wallet, still loving every episode of the podcast and long may it continue.
Oh... one request... can you dumb down a couple of questions in the quiz so that a thicko like me can at least get one or two questions right.... something along the lines of :
Q How many 1 pences are there in a 10 pence?
Q What green reptile features in Frogger?
Q What was the prequel to Space Invaders Part 2?
Q What is the best grid position called that you can obtain in Pole Position?
Q Name the film franchise that the classic Atari game "Star Wars" was based on?
