It's the return of a gaming podcast like no other. It's not just about games though: also Life... and Biscuits.

I've been enjoying the recent podcasts. Great to hear your thoughts on the Evercade and MiSTER before investing in those.

After having sat out the competition for so long, I am finally trying to post a score for the next podcast, but I am finding I really suck at Galaga '88 haha.

As always I listen in anticipation of the mention of the legendary sponge finger, but alas no word of the sugary elongated biscuit, strangely resembling Arkanoids Vaus space ship, is ever spoken of. Unfortunately I have to listen to the whole podcast in hope that it may get some attention.
In all seriousness, thanks for your persistence in making these podcasts keeping all in the hobby as sane as can be.
Thank you.

Thanks for the podcast Chaps. Another triumph of arcade-related audio entertainment.

I didn't get a chance to play the last game, but I've given Galaga 88 a blast.

I still have fond memories of it's grand-pappy, Galaxians, when it originally came out. So colourful... So insecty... Hmmm... I never thought about it at the time, but what, exactly, were all those alien flies buzzing about? Must have been my scores!

Anyway, Galaga88, imho, doesn't have the same impact. The sound's good. And it's plenty colourful, but it suffers from the same malais as many other shmups. Get any distance into the game and die just the once, and you might as well give up. You needs the firepower to do well at this one.

By the time I got past the seond wave of 'galactic dancing', I was reduced to whacking the fire button as fast as I could and dodging the bullets. Not sure what was happening up top by that stage. I didn't dare look up in case I got rammed from the side.

Keep up the good work.

PS: Top tip for the other listeners who haven't discovered this already. I've been having a quick blast at lunchtimes recently. And not being knackered, like I am by the time I get the chance to play again in the evening, my scores seem to be a bit better...

Hey! I actually managed to listen to this one! First time in ages!

Was I doing arcade tinkering while listening? Hell no.. I had to build a little kiddie-swing

Interesting that both Earthworm Jim and Aladdin on Megadrive got a mention. They are of course both David Perry (of Shiny Entertainment fame) games, so both outta the same outfit!

And no, I wasn't the creator of the mini-Dino-Asteroids, that was indeed Smarty. He has another cunning one in the works too!

Really hoping I can get a chance to play Galaga'88 this month! See you on ArcadeSidekick
