Great podcast chaps, I still have load to catch up on, but listened to the latest this morning whilst working.
1942, never been keen on this one I'm afraid, 1943 I find far more enjoyable.
Console Wars - You have to remember games and consoles were expensive, you had to be super rich to have more than one, so it really was a choice thing. Nintendo Rules!!! Luckily I worked at WHSmith on Saturdays, so had a 25% discount card and got first dibs on sales, so picked up classics at way less than the usual price.
Was nice to see you Vic earlier this month when you made your collection from. Never thought I'd have to let it go, but there is no-one out there more than you that it would have gone to. Can't believe I have gone from 9 cabs to 4 in less than a year, hopefully one day I'll suss out how to put a Pi in my little Jamma cab and use that for most of my needs.
Biscuits - I've recently started buying some chocolate sticky toffee pudding hobnobs, my word they are good. I am with Shaun on the front that custard creams do not require dipping of any sort.
6 Vectrex's!! that is a lot Vic, I did buy one early last year and have picked up the muti-carts/UV lights & overlays for it, I utterly hate the controller though, I need to get a Vic special at some point, I am hoping something like Vecfever comes out on it again, so I can play proper Asteroids and stop my thirst for a cabaret cab, that was what drew me to the machine in the first place, blissfully unaware the carts were like gold dust.
Just had a quick go on Darius Gaiden, rather like the game, I have a Darius game on the Snes and a couple of the later series on the PS1. First level seems pretty easy, but got wiped up pretty quick come both second levels. Highest I got in my 20mins playing it was 332140.
