Hey I was wondering if anyone here owned or knows of the location of a The Last Starfighter cab: https://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8394

Ti Singh of Bristol Bad Film Club and Forbidden Worlds Film Festival has messaged me as he wants to hire one next year for the 40th anniversary of the film. He actually specifically said he wants to hire a replica, but I can't imagine that really exists unless people made it themselves. If anyone has any idea it would be great to be able to let him know as he's a really sound guy.

AFAIK the cab never existed outside of the film. There was a guy on here a few years back that built a replica, but I think he is in Australia.

Edit: Here's the old build thread.

Ah I think I got very confused when I saw it was produced by Atari and had a page on Arcade Museum!
I see there's an Atari 5200 rom - so I might see if I can get that working on MiSTer and let me him know. Interesting stuff!

As mentioned above the cab built was a replica of the one from the film.
I think you did used to be able to download a copy of the game used for it to run on a PC.
