I recently picked up a Super Space Stranger cocktail on ebay, sold as having at least a dead screen. Screen is certainly dead, there's no noise, no glow, I can see that the voltage from the power supply reaches it and the initial AC/DC diode section of the chassis seems to be putting out the right voltage, but at the test point for what I think is B+(?) there's basically nothing. I've done a visual check and can't see anything obviously bad, no dry solder joints that jump out at me, no physical damage - honestly I do not know where to start.
Does anyone recognise this type of chassis or screen setup and know of any machines that might be good donors for screens or screen parts? It seems unwise for me to go poking around with it much more than I have but I don't know if there's any other sanity checks that could be done on a bench while it's apart like this aside from checking capacitors. I'm hoping to get someone to look at it, suggestions welcome.
I did find a schematic of the monitor in the manual, also attached. I think the machine is good to go aside from this, it plays blind and I've fixed everything else.
