Toggle switches to turn of section not staying off

I like the feature in the new forums that let you turn off sections that I never read to reduce the clutter (VR and pinball to name a couple) but for me after a while all the switches I turned off all turn back on again.
Is it just me with my firefox browser or does it happen to others as well?

The sections which I turned off have stayed off so far.
(It's been about two weeks.)

It's only days for me so it must be my browser or something else to do with my PC.

I'm using Opera, if that helps...
