I got this board in recently, after replacing 22, yes 22 bad fajitsu's and 4 eprom sockets (for now) it finally fired up and it's running. Still a few more issues but we are getting there. Best restock on my sockets

Nice fix! So did you fault find with probe/scope to find the Fujitsu's being bad and then decide to shotgun or were you finding faults on each chip that was replaced?

What were the date codes on the Fujitsu's?

Probed some chips around/linking the customs first after replacing the custom sockets as they didn't look good. After just the fajitsu's where failing around/linking the customs, I then just got to a point where I was just probing every fajitsu, piggybacking didn't show any improvements on screen, obviously because there where so many other failures, but it did get the gates moving. Tested everyone out of circuit and they all tested bad.

The test rom diagnosed the bad ram. As I've learnt in the past, it's not always bad ram when the test rom tells you, but as I replaced the chips dealing with the ram, this time I was sure it was down to the ram. Thankyou shoestring for the testrom.
