tron voltage conversion

Hi all i have recently bought a f/s tron machine from the us , was hoping someone here could advise me on how to change the voltage from 110v to 240v any advice would be appreciated .

Pretty sure you can't, the power brick is locked into a certain input ac voltage . You'll have to just have to use a step down transformer.

Well...

Using the existing parts, no, you can't. However, out of necessity because the transformer decided to start blowing fuses, and a UK cocktail never existed, I have fitted a switch mode power supply and arcadeshop converter board, a 240v monitor isolation transformer and a separate 240v/12VAC transformer for the audio. The only other thing then that is not on 240v is the fan so that just needs a 240v AC fan.

In theory then, job done.

However, FAR, FAR easier to buy a step-down transformer.

The one at the bar kept cutting out as the 350w step-down transformer we was using wasn't powerful enough and it would work for 1 hour and then the transformer would shutdown for a couple of hours. So I put a Model 2 transformer inside the cab (550w) and it is much better, still shuts down but much rarer (maybe 1 hour every few days). Going to replacement it with a NAOMI transformer (650w) and hopefully that should be enough.
