That Aran is a complete knob.
I wont post anything on Jamma+ , simply because of him.
He seems to think that he can do what he likes, which he can, I suppose, but I wont be part of anything to do with that arsehole.

mmm. Interesting, as of today jammaplus.org and jammaplus.org.uk are taken. Said domains were available prior to my comments yesterday. Methinks a certain someone is reading this thread. Maybe jammaplus.tv is worth a punt

I'm starting to wonder if we make more of this feud than needs be...
Like a wasp at a picnic. Wave your arms about and you get stung. You're left annoyed and a little sore.
On the other hand, ignore it and after a few moments it will likely go away.
Remember guys, you may not like or agree with the mods and admin sometimes, but J+ is a community not a few individuals. I'm sure most people on J+ like having you around and that you like being on J+. So why not let sleeping dogs lie.
For the last 18 months every time this has kicked off, I get really bothered about the conflict and the fact there's a divide in the community. But face it, we don't really know what's at the core of it, that's between the few blokes concerned. Let's leave them to it, ignore any crap and carry on discussing real arcade things.

Steve tbh I doubt many of the "blokes" will even really remember what's at the core of it, I'm buggered if I can. I think now it's just at the "I don't like xxxx" point, which you can't really get past I think. I've already said it to you but I'll say it again, we realise that both community's are made up of the membership and that generally barring the Admins/Mods of both sites that they are the same. All we've ever really not liked about the J+ Admin/Moderation is the overbearing censorship they excercise at the will of themselves. EOD that's there perogative, they can do as they please, but we don't have to like or agree with it. It does unfortunatley seem like some of the guys over at J+ (all of whom I think I've met and tbh liked to a man) have some personal problem with some of us over here. OK, that's fine - it happens, people sometimes just don't get on. What's really tiring is the constant sniping away at us over here. I can't be arsed to recount all the instances but I think if we were to look back over the last 12 months you'd find it's pretty one way traffic against UKVAC. It is sad, and I wish there was something I/we could do to stop it but I just don't see how, we can either try and ignore it as we have done OR join in and go hell for leather against J+ as they have done. We too could register domains, spam users on J+, and myriad other dirty tricks - but we just can't be bothered. For the J+ admin, if and when you read this please feel free to contact me personally if you have any constructive suggestion on how to put this to bed once and for all. Also if anyone else has any realistic suggestions that you think will be acceptable to both sides, please pipe up. I'd quite like to get back to *just* collecting and playing video games and have a decent community with only a good cameraderie and sense of fair play.
I have spoken to Julian and Aran and they have removed the re-direct. So this shold be resolved now. Hopefully dialog can happen at Replay to ensure everything remains in a happy state.

i also had pms from julian and aran. i was told it was being redirected after a wee conflab. i say hats off to aran
as he said in his pm it was his !!!. i feel rather saddened that julian may think less of me now, and aran too. it was never my intention to be guided in any way, by either side. this site is different in many ways to jammaplus. but both these sites will flourish and bloom in different ways. i personally think we can all, but a few people put this to sleep. and again would like to thank aran for this huge, on his behalf gesture.
