vga to cga to hanterex issues

Hello everybody - I am looking for some advice on connecting a hanterex chasis to a pc via a vga to cga converter board. So far we have had sync issues and pincushion problems. the Chasis and attached tube was a working pull from a golden tee so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I am not 100% sure the output cable to the monitor is wired right - does the red converter board output h sync and v sync or cpmposite sync?

It looks like the order is RED GREEN BLUE GND SYNC. Thats all the wires you need for the hantarex. On the hantarex you have RED GREEN BLUE GND V SYNC HSYNC. You must connect the converter SYNC to hantarex H SYNC. I hope it helps. Your cable colors don't match.
