You've got to question, whether the lawyers would have had a field day with this if they'd been aware. Pre-internet I'd put money on people not really noticing and doing comparisons though.

Does seem risky from the Sega perspective, that thunder blade one is pretty much a direct scan it's crazy.

Wonder if they had media group 'agreements' in place or something?
