What's happened to Arcadeworld UK?

I lodged an order with them 5 days ago. No shipping notification so I followed up and their site/social media has all vanished!

Looking at other online comments it seems they have ripped off a whole bunch of people

I've made over 20 orders with them over the years. Pretty gutted as they seemed like good honest people when ever I had a query

Anyone else in the same position?

I've placed numerous orders with them and never had a problem, although I did get the impression something was up as their stock seems to have dwindled and wasn't getting replaced.

Used to be really good service, but I've noticed dwindling stock in the last couple of years. I had a flurry of discount emails quite recently, which rang alarm bells.

I ordered a coin mech a few weeks ago , arrived within a few days. I have had stuff fro. Them since they started and never had a issue. I woukd email them , i always get a response. Its Andy i speak to i think.

Their email address is longer valid, they have vanished entirely

That's a shame if they've gone, Even worse if folk lose money from recent orders. Never the cheapest but always fast, reliable and great comms.

I ordered some parts last year & one was missing (Sanwa JLF plate) on arrival but was quickly sorted.

I sometimes use the PiHut for Sanwa parts as he is quicker at shipping.

Yes it seems they enticed customers with discounts so they could generate orders and then disappear with their money. Calculated thievery of the highest order. I hope I am wrong.

The company is still listed as active at Companies House, so no idea what the situation is...

It seems very odd to destroy a decades old reputation of being good for a few quid at the end. Which most folk are probably going to claim back depending on how they paid.
