Got an orion 19" tube, with the pictured connector. As Its going into a hantarex chassis, I need to cut connector off, and fit the green 6 pin hantarex connector.

The wires on yoke are:

Red & Blue 3.2 ohms
Green & Yellow 14 ohms

My question is what colour wires go to what pins on the chassis? You can see 2 identical connectors on chassis as well.

It's for horizontal and vertical deflection. IIRC I think one is for 15k and the other is for 24k. If you get it the wrong way around, you will just get a flipped image.

I'll need to double check, but off the top of my head I think the two pins closest to the big green 1k resistor are for the horizontal (red and blue on your wires) and the two pins on the other side are for vertical (green and yellow). The two pins in the middle need to be joined by a loop of wire or the chassis won't power up. One socket gives a normal image, the other one is for a flipped image. The 15k and 24k bit is only for dual sync chassis and if this is just a 15k Polo 2 then you'll not have to worry about that. I assume this is definitely a 14"/17"/20" Polo 2 chassis?

Cheers tony. Does the red wire go on the first pin, nearest the resistor or the second pin? What about the yellow/green wires the other side? It's a polo 2 14"/17". Is the link wire for hantarex tubes, or do I still need for orion tube?

You'll have to connect them up and see what the image looks like, there's no actual way of really knowing whether the image will be flipped or not till you power up. All you need to make sure of is that you get the two horizontal winding wires (red and blue) on the pins nearest the resistor, and the two vertical winding wires (yellow and green) on the two furthest away. You need a loop wire on the middle two pins for the Hanty chassis, it's a safety thing to make sure you don't power up without a yoke connected. TV chassis sometimes have a loop wire on their plug design (quite often that's on TV's with separate yoke plugs for the two windings), other times they don't bother. I think the plug furthest from the yoke is the non-flipped image plug, but it doesn't really matter which one you choose as you're wiring it up from scratch.

It can be a bit confusing sometimes as the original yoke loom wire colours on Hantarex monitors was yellow and orange for horizontal and red and brown for vertical! Hantarex did later on change the colours, although that may have been when they were taken over by Sambers (I think).
