It’s much less common than the mirrored black & white SI ,,, I had a Japanese SI. Pt ll. ( it had ‘Yen’ price decals in the door slots) until 2010 with the recessed colour screen monitor and bezel but sadly don’t really recall the difference or dimensions of the Cp …. If I recall a guy called Chris who was CPS74 on jammaplus lived Rhos on sea near Llandudno bought it someone may know him now? And maybe find out if he still has it? …. He was a keen arcade hobbyist with a few zacc cabs , plus others and a sit in Atari ampliphone vector monitor game in his garage..with most of the access panels removed, and had some new side art for zacc type scramble or similar so a member on here might know who he is but it’s a long shot? Perhaps someone has been contacted help him with repairs?

I do have a top SI marquee off same style recessed cab framed on stairs wall so can say width is approx 24.5” (62.5cm) but that’s likely same as the other style cab with vertical front screen bezel?

Thanks for the response, anything helps that might trigger anyone that knows this Chris you mention, I guess I'm going to have to go with the repro CPO and once I have that I might need to figure out the dimensions of the wood to house the buttons etc, I might not get it exact but hey-ho

Thanks Ronnie

My control panel and bezel is reproduction by Ollie on here (Muddymusic). Mine is 2 pieces, the original is a single piece with a bend which he couldn't do. You could order them directly from him. TBH the join is hardly noticeable.

Thanks, when you get a chance could you do me some pics? Did you have the wood part with joystick etc? What holds the bezel down? What's under the bezel? Anything around the screen? Can you get a picture of back door please?

Thanks Ronnie

Just sent you a load of pictures. There is a shroud around the crt under the bezel. Taking the control panel out is a bit of a faff but it pretty conventional wooden (ply?) with 2 holes and a slot. If you buy the reproduction panel from Ollie you will be able to work out positions. The bezel is secured by 4 domed chime bolts. I have a “J” section channel securing the front edge of the CP (not sure this is original) and the bottoms also hold the CO down.

Anyway hope this gives you enough to get yours fixed up.

Cheers,

Andrew
