Nice haul, it did remind me a lot of the last time I went to Ades lockup.

Please tell me you didn't turn up in 11 plate motors.

Well 2 machines from there have been dropped off at mine this morning by Andyman

Alot to buy just to get some 3D glasses, but when you have the Continental Circus original Cockpit it's kinda worth it. The game is totally awesome in 3D and sitdown with brake pedal and 4 speaker sound
smiley4.gif

The front one is the later re-released as Continental Circuit cab from the USA, so that was imported at some point

The Glasses won't fit straight on the Sitdown, but with some adjustments to them, I will make them fit and nearly have a complete working cab apart from rear marquee and light fitting

When Ol told me about the 3D glasses on it, I said let me know when as I will buy the cab. as it's not the most popular game, I thought I would offer to buy both if it helped out with the overall deal.

The USA one, has the same setup inside and my Double Dragon cab, same psu, interconnect board and cardboard with silver sheilding, which will be nice spares for that cab

Thanks for all involved in sorting out yesterday, Martin for picking up some of our machines and andyman for dropping them off today

More pics please everyone, I want to see all the cabs

<SNIP> REPEAT PICS REMOVED </SNIP>

Hi Bods - I am so glad the second one came free or I wasn't going to do the deal! I know you only wanted the 3D glasses but wanted you to get a decent cab.

The actual cab with the 3D glasses is pretty solid - but the CP and metal frame need sand blasting. The other non 3D one is only worth it for parts.

I am really pleased that the non 3D glasses one you can use the parts from.

I went to the Unigame meet and it was excellent!

We need some more decent meets down South.

Oll?, Rav?

Unfortunately I am not setup to do that at the moment. The only places you will see my games is at events. I can't afford £500 a month in shop front fees! Plus all the associated insurances, council tax and utility bills! Hats off to Julian as with public liability insurances for a place like that and the mentioned bills it must cost about £1000 a month.

Great haul, love the Pacmania cab, looks really nice that one, I hope it either works or if there is a problem its a simple fix, what about Op Wolf? have you had time to plug it in yet, I bought the other one from yesterday.

Thanks, I suppose deep down I never really expected it to work first time, if I've done my research correct it seems like the pcb's are a bit unreliable. If it doesnt work only 1 of my 3 gun games works ok but when Gunblade arrives it will be 2 out of 4 so at least it takes me to a 50% success rate on lightgun games

This is a shame but I can see what a massive drain on resources your own public arcade can be, especially if you are doing it alone.

Your OpWolf cab was sound. There's a slight knock on the left side, and the marquee rails definitely need sand blasting/power coating (or the DIY of stripping/sanding/painting yourself). I can't remember the coin door - that might be OK.

I think all the games once cleaned will look a million miles better before any restoration work has started!

I have pix of your one. Will upload ASAP.

Nice one, I'll keep my fingers crossed when I power it up then, worker or non worker I'm still over the moon with it

Painting & cleaning jobs are what I can do so look forward to getting stuck in, Martin I think has a nest egg of cabs he's going to deliver together as I'm only 30mins from him.

Wish I was at a state of all cabs in place and working.

Still need to get extension 2 finished so I can get most of the uprights in there and then sort out the rest of the house and arcade building.

I did about have things sorted out quite nice and started getting some machines up and running, but as more machines kept appearing for sale, you just can't help but buy some of them, ones you never expected to see, you just can't say no. so all the space I had I filled and I mean filled so I can't hardly get in myself, which defeats the whole point when you have them and cant play em or get to repair them

Then running out of money don't help, just can't wait to get things sorted

Is that the fabled Martin The Deliveryman posing for the camera?

Have you had chance to test your APB out yet? another quality classic rescued
