If you only got one cab it would be a good day

So does he have really huge meals or were there that many cabs

This isn't fair is. Mind you if he had my internet how it was last year it would of took this long to upload the pictures

Haha apologies for the delay. After a Domino's pizza and a couple of celebratory beers last night I was a bit too incoherent to post!

So on with the Raid! The machines were located in the basement, which was formerly a bar / games room. The cabs were a bit grubby and it was obvious they had sat there a long time. But under the grime they appear to be in really nice condition and should clean up really well. It's great they've been in doors all this time in nice dry conditions.

Game World Jamma cabinet

I haven't seen one quite like this before. It's a nice narrow cab, making it great for home use, and I really like the gold T-moulding. Inside the cab is a nice clean Bomb Jack pcb, the perfect game for the cab!

Sega / Gremlin Astro Blaster Cabaret

The Raid highlight for me! I absolutely love this little cab. Other than some light surface rust on the coin door, the cab looks great.

The nameplate on the back.

Is that a rare manufacturers sticker on the hood? Erm, no. It's a 80's Heineken beer mat! I'm tempted to leave this in place.

The Getaway: High Speed II

I had toyed with the idea of getting a pinball table in the past, but lack of space and expense had put me off. However this was just too good to pass up!

I had watched a couple of YouTube videos beforehand with transportation tips, so had some idea of what to expect. It was by far the trickiest machine to get out of the building. In fact the other machines were a walk in the park by comparison! I had to label all the wires and disconnect the backbox to get it through narrow doors, manoeuvre the machine round a tight twisty corridor and then take it up some stairs.

I really like the look of this one, it almost has an OutRun vibe. Has anyone got any experience of playing it?

Lord of the Rings Fruit Machine

This was bought as part of the deal and I will be selling it on.

Cabs out of the basement and on the ground floor.

The machines on the van locked and loaded!

Nice lot there, good to see a raid where everything isn't damp and rusty for a change!
Pinball is a good one, and the Astro Blaster cabaret is a lovely little cab

Nice score.

The AB Cabaret is awesome, I had one of these that had been converted to an Artic game like Robotron. Forget it’s name.

I also had a full sized white melamine teal AB but it is now in Arcade Club.

Would love one of those cabarets unmolested.

Have you powered it on yet?

Board sets are a nightmare to repair.

get the batteries out of the pinball ASAP - if they leak they rot the tracks on the PCB, and replacement PCB's are getting very pricey. (hopefully none in it, but check anyway)

Nice finds and a slightly eclectic selection

Astro Blaster FTW, a game I was offered at south coast slam a few years back and turned down due to other commitments now wish I hadn't

Gatway pin is not a bad find, I'd rather have a Cirqus Votaire though :)

Unlike a lot of raids, those cabs look in great condition. Great work on tracking them down and rescuing them. Nice to get a pin thrown in too!

Worth the effort, then! The Astro Blaster cab alone was worth it, I reckon. I'm also liking the little Video Play cab. Perfect for Bomb Jack, which is such a great game.

Really pleased for you pal.. Well worth the effort and all from asking a few questions. Total bonus.

I love AB, my mate has a cocktail and it is such a good game and the sounds are tremendous.

I also have a fondness for cabaret cabs and one of my all time fave games is Bombjack.

Well done for saving these and getting them out of that basement!! (which on the plus side, appears to have kept them in really good nick!!)

That's like a Complete Games Room setup in one lot so you can't knock that and there not beat up either

Fruity, Pinball, Jamma Cab with Bombjack which is classic and an original Dedicated Gremlin/Sega Machine. Shame they didn't have a few more pcb's hiding

There are plenty people that would be over the moon if there games room ended up like that after a few years

Imagine if you hadn't asked about things, in a few years for what ever reasons, the place sold or something and someone buys it, they could of cleared all that stuff out and skipped it or would end up on ebay like that last job lot so great outcome that
