Bexhill Arcade?

Ok guys,

I've spoken to this guy a couple times and well, he's a bit odd and reluctant to discuss his old cabs, but there are a few nice cabs in good cosmetic condition tucked away in his arcade in Bexhill. See the vid.

I've clocked an Asteroid and a couple of other things in a back room through a window round the side. Maybe it was a Tobin, I'm not sure. There are also fruits, f*cking hundreds of them, back to back, wall to wall. You can see them stored away in a room out the back through another window. At least 50 or 60 at a guess.

Maybe you can work your magic on him sometime, see if you can persuade him to part with them for the right price, obviously if you do, I call first dibs on the Outrun and first dibs to Strykr for the Championship Sprint

I've seen the thread on J+ about this. I've been through Bexhill a few times and never even realised this place was there which is a shame as I would have dropped in for a few games. But this is allegedly the guy who leaves most of them turned off to save electricity? hahahah. I might pop over one day when I'm bored and scout the place out.

Yeah man. It really bugs me that he holds onto them, only to never use them. Especially as it's so close to home for me. He won't really be drawn on discussions about selling either. The Hang On upright is very tidy too guys, a real thing of beauty.

I've been there many times, very much to eye up and play Outrun and Champ Sprint. Outrun is now relegated to the power saving zone too sadly, I remember back in 2001/2 he had a big 4 player simpsons as well, and one of the Jamma cabs was running R-Type. But there were a fair dead cabs sitting there then. Now its very much graveyard like. He pointblank refused to talk about parting with the cabs when I've asked. And as legend goes before, many others have asked too and offered him silly prices and he has said no, he believes they are a huge holy grail pot of money for his retirement. He apparently has more stuff tucked away behind closed doors. An Asteroids is being used to hold back an old door in one room. I still dream of owning that Outrun cab though.

Well, he he believes they are worth so much money then it's only a matter if time before he wants to sell up!
And maybe if you keep asking, and asking, and asking he might just give in :-D
