Can anyone help or know what is happening???

I have been reading about "a raid that never was" on the Arcade Bloggers page (link below) and thought it can't just be left like this there is so much expertise on this site and countless raids has been done, can anyone come up with any ideas on how these can be saved. Does anyone know anyone over there who would help? Got to be worth someone's while,. Shame I don't live in America i'd go!! $1,000 for all that...

Yeh as you said " there is so much expertise on this site" so I am sure people have tried , As said above these are a little beyond saving as well !

I don't think they are all beyond saving, The Thundercade, Operation wolf, Taito Ninja Gaiden, Ameri Darts, Guerilla looks like they could be saved or at least parts be taken. and the Captain America and the Avengers, Pole position, Galaga, and the Midway Gorf cab looks like lots of parts could be taken from these.

and there are raids which have been worse.. parts were able to be salvaged from this lot.....

and there was the arcade raid Tony wrote about where machines had been moved to an arcades basement (which later flooded) to make room for an escape room The machines and basement looked far worst than this but parts were salvaged...

Pity. But the potential parts alone would have been worth a dig, negotiate the price afterwards depending on what could be salvaged.

yea only worth it for the parts but even some of those parts will be too far gone,
maybe a couple of cabs worth saving, the rest damp crumbled mush

You could probably salvage the wiring harnesses and controls etc.,
I think a lot of the pcb boards would probably have too much corrosion on them and beyond saving.

I wouldn't bother. There's been some serious flooding in that building and not just a drop or two of rain.

All you'll find there will be rust, rot and tears. Possibly a lung infection leading to long term health problems or it could be a quick death if the building falls on you...... decisions, decisions
