Can PC Engine HU Cards be repaired?

I have a PC Engine game that loads up but when it gets too a certain point it crashes/stops responding, just wondering if this is now trash or if it can be repaired.

It's not the end of the world, I have a second copy of it that works, but just wondering if there's anything that can be done? Feels a shame to throw it.

I've done the obvious thing of giving it a good clean, but still the same issue.

I doubt it can be repaired. At least, I've never heard of someone doing it. Can you try it on another console to confirm it's the card at fault? What game is it, out of interest?

Kiyuu Kiyoku Mahjong Idol
I only have the one console unfortunately, but as I say the other copy of the game I have works fine.
On first tile draw the game always locks up.

Guess it goes in to my pile of bits that don't work but I'm reluctant to throw.

What did you clean it with? Have you tried giving it a really good rub with isopropyl alcohol?

ive had hucard die on me salamander was one of them i binned it duh , should put stuck a magnet on the back of it and had it as a fridge magment or drilled a hole in it and put it on a key ring u live and learn

Good ideas, or put a hole in it and wear it on a chain! Would look amazing walking down the street with no top on 😀

Yea that's what I tried, didn't do anything I'll give it another go, you never know.

I did see somewhere that someone was using there's as a keychain, its an idea
