Managed to make another visit to the location the week before Christmas. The op had got fed up with having no space or time to sort through it all so gave us 1 afternoon to get out whatever we wanted, last chance basically before he had more stuff coming in making it impossible to get at anything.

Some stuff was totally buried a dozen cabs deep....the only way to do it was to move about 80 cabs to get to what we wanted, so we just cracked on with it. Absolutely shattering day, 2 van loads all together done a few days apart.

This time we also tackled the parts room which was stacked up to the door 5 foot high. You can see in the pics below as we started to clear it and see what was there. I got in the room literally standing on top of parts, and it was a good few hours pulling stuff out before I could even see a tiny square of floor!

Some nice and unexpected finds in here though, you'll spot stuff in the pics as we go.

And then some of the cabs we took. I picked up a couple of fruities I used to like playing as well, not normally what I go for but we were able to test them first and they were a good price.

Other cabs were mostly fair prices, more than we would have paid a few years back but operators have gotten wise to values a bit more these days. The Tokyo Wars is lovely, needs quite a bit of work to sort it but should be stunning when it's finished. The Midway Touch Master is quite a rare one so we had to take that. We actually got 3 cocktails, including a Taito Space Invaders but I didn't get around to getting pics of all of them.

This was my favourite pick up of the day, at first I wasn't even sure it was a real one as the coin door and brackets had all been painted black and the art was inkjet stuff, but a look underneath confirmed it. PCB is having a fix but I was able to play a glitchy game before it died!

Looks like you managed to find another treasure trove of arcade parts and spares, awesome work!

Planet Harriers! Now that's a game close to my heart, fantastic game and a real rarity. It's such a shame that most of them have seemingly been broken up.

I spy some rotary sticks. I'm on the lookout for one if you have any coming up for sale?

The Tokyo Wars and the Namco cocktail cab look really nice, great finds!

Don’t suppose there is a hikaru boardset there to go with the planet harriers?

Sadly not. We did find the bezel as well though, but that was it. I was really quite surprised to see that in there tbh, but the op does seem to have had some quite unusual cabs over the years.

There was one there, I have 2 already so happy to sell that on if you want it. I might have the loom it needs too in my spares.

you took tokyo wars?

Certainly did! We had to dismantle it to get it out, and also the front glass was missing but after a bit of searching managed to find it, looks like there's 4 or 5 pcb stacks too but will assume it doesn't work or it would still be out on site I'm sure.

Did you pickup that little white counter-top cab in first set of pics - I'm looking for a project box with space for a screen?

That was a metal locking case for cd cases so didn't take that.
