So, long time member but brand new owner.

Just after some clarity really, i know thee are Jamma connections and i have a pacman that isnt one of those, not exactly sure what it is TBH

I was also looking at a Bomb Jack PCB earlier and the listing said it wasnt Jamma, but could be ran through a supergun or some sort of adaptor
Just looking for some info on the different types of connections, and you would need to put say a pacman board inside of a jamma machine and vice versa, and are there any other connectors out there i could stumble across?

There's a lot of different pinouts and sizes when it comes to edge connections on pcbs, until they came up with a standard that every company started to follow (jamma). So you'll need jamma adapters for any boards that you own that are prejamma.

If you can solder and have the time you can make them yourself rather cheaply but I'd go with buying premade ones from ebay or american sites etc as they're pretty cheap now.

Adapters often work with more than one game, too. I think my Pac-Man also works with galaxian. The Bomb Jack adapter I was looking at works with a few Tehkan games.
