I just set up fly cast ( naomi / Dreamcast / atomiswave ) on a
16g ddr4 ..
6gig ddr5 980 TI zotac
i7 4gig
Runs flawless .
Tower Fits in base of a Naomi
Easy hook up if you have a vga 31khz tube in the cab ..
I have a couple net dimm setups as well..
Always nicer to be running real hardware of course
But some of these emulators are great too, and getting better

Did you have to swap the dvi to vga ( legacy gpu ) ? Its like magic

Built some groovymame pc again last week and had to do that.
Seems people are chucking I5 & I7 ddr3 pc’s now..
Every time I go to local tip bins full of it..
If it’s small form I will take it and just try it out for fun ..
Just to see what games the processor will fail to run full frame rate ..
Kinda like seeing if it is capable of running games the mister cannot
Then it is worth having it even if it’s only for just 1 game you like.
Price of the Radeon gpu only being round 15£ to get it outputting 15khz
Linux groovy arcade no extra gpu

Yea got an old amd card with dvi and just used a converter. it did take a while to get the screen resolution sorted, had to remote in to the pc but got there in the end. its an i5 with decent memory and works well once it’s loaded into the game menu.

yea. given the games I actually play just got a 1tb ssd. I do have a 20tb sata drive with an image on it with a daft number of games including PlayStation and Wii that I got online but decided not to go with that, does work well on a pc though but I prefer using arcade machines

Lindbergh loader is something I’m trying to hook to og driving hardware .
I have a universal FFb set up to sega dash
All out on the floor
Pc left Universal FFb Sega
In middle Stuff right
Sega dash in front
All working with FFB from pc just need to lable up all connection before returning it to cabinet .

Yeh still planning to getting all back in a cabinet but will be a while yet I think .. it’s at the back of things to do at moment buts very cool

Yeh I orderd a multi system 2 jamma as well ..
I’m really wishing for a pin header for ls-32 / data east / happ rotary sticks
It is after all supposed to be a
Hot swap solution to replacing your arcade boards in arcade cabinets ..
So analogue wheels & pedals
4& 8 way sticks
USB spinner like spin track seems to be taken care of.
I would love to see
