Love electrocoin marquees also, sounds like an incredible collection of material you have. It took me a while to find one for my aliens xenon I have just finished.

There are some really nice flyers here, most of my favourite games are represented Ghouls and Ghosts, Strider, P.O.W and Chase HQ!

With all this talk about flyers, I thought I'd mention the compilation books that I’ce created which are currently with the printers. All the information is on this thread in case anyone is interested as I will have a few spares.

Sadly no Electrocoin ones in there for the second-half of the 80s, I was selective rather than including every single flyer I could find, which I'd done for 72 to 84.

Cheers. Yeah I've had a couple of people ask me for the Aliens marquee over the years, I think I traded my spare one a long time ago and I've only ever had one of the more cartoon Aliens variant.
I do need to update my marquee thread as I've probably had another 20 or so since I originally put the pics up.

This was the Aliens marquee I picked up 5 or so years ago and just finally used. Looks fantastic illuminated with the light almost piercing through the I.
The electrocoin marquees often had a cartoon/ graphic style which I think was really appealing.

Think I have the right one for the cabinet but like other version also. Think I was too late to the electrocoin party to start collecting these.. see there is some on eBay but not the titles I want currently.

Electrocoin produced the cabinets and artwork under license from Konami or Capcom?

I wonder if they had to sign off on what they used. The cartoony Aliens one looks like a kids game

Yes under license but they could pretty much do what they liked. I've got a few with spelling mistakes on.

The dedicated Salamander Goliath marquee came from Konami though.

Some more Electrocoin flyers to add to the collection. I bought another Ninja Warriors thinking it would be good for trading but I just realised it's slightly different than the one in the first post, bonus!

I've been after one of those flyer folders for a long time so I'm made up with that one.

I love the expression rouge’s gallery 👌 although doesn’t the chap second in from the left look a bit like Jimmy Saville? Hopefully he wasn’t involved with the development of 1943.

Im considering wallpapering the lounge with copies of that POW flyer.

I know, there isn't any context at all, not even an Electrocoin logo. People probably thought they flew the planes.

Yes pity it was just a conversion but I do prefer the UK cab. Although that could just be because I remember it as a kid.

I like the style of the original Darius and it's the cab I remember Ninja Warriors being in but the 13" monitor box stuck on the back is a pain when putting the cab somewhere, A new marquee and full control panel overlay should of been included at very least, you get the sticker to go over Darius Marquee so when lit you have a mixture of both Darius and Ninja Warriors coming through, stickers with Dagger and Star to go over the writing of Bombs etc on darius panel sucks lol
That would of been fine as an upgrade kit then but considering Electrocoin made the cabs here they could of redone them with Ninja Warriors artwork, even incorporated some of the art from the side of the Japan sitdown to replace the fish scales maybe but having said that, when I played it in the arcade did I take any notice of the cabinet, nope I was too busy focused on the game graphics and playing it
