Hello does anyone know where I can buy a capacitor kit for a hantarex mtc 900 20 inch monitor please in the UK. I have a dead hantarex monitor and don't know anybody who can fix it for me so I am going to try myself. I have no experience at all so any help and advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's a 900E as said in your other thread. I don't know of anywhere that does a cap kit as such although there's probably somewhere. Easiest way is just look at what each cap is on the chassis, make a list and get some decent caps from eBay or CPC, somewhere like that. There are different revisions of the chassis and some use slightly different caps, they're all very similar though in what caps they use. It's unlikely a cap kit will revive itr, although if they're all the originals it certainly won't hurt to do them as they're getting on for 40 years old now!
Thank you tb2000 there is one mushroomed cap on the board I will try and change this and hope it is the problem there is writing on the cap so hopefully I can get a replacement.
