The Hey Stockholm arcade is a modern arcade in Sweden, with a preference for rhythm games. It won't be to everyone's tastes here, but it was a fantastic experience going over there and the people were great. From what we heard, the 80s Swedish scene thrived on bootleg games (like us) and they also still love to collect now. Amidst all his candies, Henrik had a Space Duel, an Astro Blaster, and an uber-rare cocktail Tempest.

It's hidden away without any kind of arcade sign outside, so going with someone who knows the area would be a help

Great podcast again chaps, listened on my commute this morning, the podcast quite literally ended as I got to my desk in the office, so perfectly timed.

I did play Road Fighter for about 10mins, just not had time, got to the start of level 2, scored 22410, darn it didn't even beat Vic!! I found that sometimes it would not move to the side as well, I had assumed that was a MAME fault, but it sounds like that was an actual issue with the game. In all honesty didn't really know much about the game, felt like there was meant to be just going up the screen dodging cars, I can see it can probably get quite addictive after a while, but it was rather dull.

The Hey Stockholm arcade looks great, love those dartboards on the ceiling, the music in the background (Oasis, Pixies) was good too.

I'll have to play back the centipede score section back to my daughter tonight, I am sure she will be pleased, been a busy week for this week with SATs.

Just got back from a long weekend in Stockholm with 2 old mates of mine. We went along to the http://www.roq.se/ bar and it was great. We liked it so much on Saturday night that we also went back on the quieter Sunday.

We played pool, shuffleboard, Outrun 2 and some pinball. It was great fun and none of it was as expensive as some other places in Stockholm can be.

I agree with Shaun and Vic that it's well worth the trip if you're nearby!
