nice write and read... synonym9 and happy birthday for yesterday while i am on.
reminds me of when we had lions camp storage at rhyl our stuff got stashed like that......i still have boxes of fruitie buttons stacks of pcbs and some age old cabs.......... but sadly when it closed for good we lost loads of cabs ...at the time we had to prioritise the brand new stuff we had manufactured , and new pooltables and cd jukes, over old pacmans and donkey kongs etc.(mostly winfall jammas as there was over 150 of them just to start awaiting payment from winfall who was the slowest of payers) as it was mid winter and difficult to truck them anywhere else.(we crammed in as many as possible into the 4 holiday camp arcades we still had till space was used up)
great challenge and even greater to read of the rescue........ A FEW CANS OF FOAMING CLEANER and WHO KNOWS ?? the majority had visible keys and looked untouched ........... in the 80s i worked for associated leisure and thier depot at burton on trent was similar ... 70s pinballs far as you could see over 3 floors of an old mill building ....back in the day it was quite difficult to shift older stuff especially as colour and ECunigame / Zacc MGVS / everybodys JAMMAs took the markets by storm new games came out at several a week sometimes....i am not surprised a wealth of early 80s stuff of vids em pins and vinyl jukes got stashed . we all wanted jamma video music on CD and electronic sounding light up scoring pinballs .............. PROGRESS ?????????? !!!!!!!!!!!!
and anyone whos been around the leeds area at that time a clearing company called dial a deal (steve chris and bob ) amassed a whole floor of a warehouse just with asteroids and a few tailgunners lunar landers and odd b/w vector games
MAYBE IF I SHOW THIS THE MISSES ............ she will think my workshop is not so badly cluttered after all !!!!!!!
i only have about 35-40 in there at present and another 8 in the area between the workshop and conservatory .............. I AM ACTUALLY TAME
