Dont see anything wrong with someone coming across a good pcb haul, and selling them on to proper collectors for a slightly reduced price, which they are inc postage.

Discoverer makes a profit, collectors get the boards they want at a reduced price. Job done.

Just want to jump to beantin's aid (not that he needs a defence) to put minds at rest.
I talked with him over PM before any wiff of a raid and am now the proud owner of a Simpsons board.
It's arrived promptly, works as described, was well packaged and his comms were excellent.

Guys - just for the record, I have no personal interest in PCBs, I've had literally hundreds over the years and really don't care for any more, but just one thing...

Don't get upset because someone says they have found a source and then won't tell you where or what the sources phone number, contact details / location etc. are. I know it's frustrating, but the minute that happens one of you will jump in, open you big wallet, splash down a 4 figure sum and it's game over. Seen it loads and loads of times over. So it's common sense not to divulge that info.

Unfortunately I never got any pics I asked but he wasn't keen mainly I think because of how he lived one of these men who have plenty of money but live in squalor if you know what I mean I did see them all however and there's well lots and lots climb boxes to get to boxes kind of deal some boards where labeled faulty but apparently people like to fix em up so I'll get them on time I saw Mr do and space invaders for cocktail tables pretty much u name it it will be there rough count I'd say sum where in region of 900 boards give or take

That's where they where heading he was gonna take em to pontefract to be recycled I've saved em from that and if he sells em 2 me he don't have 2 pay for diesel that's his thought process

Yeah heard similar stories myself over the years , palette loads of boards to the scrapman
People do like a bargain on these forums mate so if ur looking for a quicker turn around keep this in mind.

I'm aware of that and I cud ask more for what they are I cud prolly get more on eBay but I'd prefer these to go to people who will want and love them that's y they r only going on here but if people have concerns about me it's simple don't buy from me but when I'm advertising the likes of r type these people will lose out

sounds like an alladins cave of pcbs then mate,hopefully you can save them all from landfill,as you say faulty ones can be fixed,or used for parts and even the pinball stuff is worth saving
