Just bought my first cabinet

Just taken the plunge and bought this at auction in Japan. Hopefully it will be making its way to the UK in a few weeks/months time.

I note it has the wrong control panel but I have bought replacements you can see in one of the pics. Also no motherboard the neo geo was just in it for testing

Easier, cheaper and faster than first planning on making one.

That 7B control panel will be very handy. 7B is the best. You have dual CPS/MVS controls. You could probably get a few quid for one of those quiz panels too.

Great cab though. Order an Airlink now and it should turn up about the same time this does.

I’m looking for something similar either blast city, astro city or new net city. Where did you buy from? Also if you dont mind me asking how much did you pay (+shipping)? Sorry i’m new to the hobby

I bought it from yahoo japan. I’m still waiting on shipping to the uk but the cost of buying it in Japan, internal shipping, agent costs and VAT so far was £1200, it should be another £300 + VAT or so shipping to the uk so should hopefully end up around £1600 mark

300 sounds cheap to the UK from Japan ,who did you get for that and what are they doing to protect it or is it part of a group container

That was only the estimate I don’t know for sure yet as that was before they had bid on the item. It’s parts of a group container
