Konami Kicker (Shao-lin´s Road) dedicated cabinet?

Evening all!

Anyone knows if there is a original Konami Kicker/shao-lin cab or if they were just kits to generic Konami cabs?

Would love to build one but there seems to be alot of different cabs used if I just google it...

Anyone happens to know what type of cab it "should be"?

I have seen several scratch builds using PLY instead of MDF these days.. is PLY the stronger choice?

Construction PLY is about 2.5x more expensive than MDF but actually looks really nice and sturdy...

what do you guys think?

Ply will be lighter and not prone to swelling like MDF. Definitely lot less mess when cutting as well. But yeah more expensive

Mdf will bend out of shape in time, plus the dust is deadly so I would buy ply every time.

That’s a pretty standard stern cabinet. If I were you I would just buy a ready made plywood cabinet and get some custom artwork for it, or better still, pick yourself up a standard 19” Jamma cab and make it into a dedicated shao lins road. Arcade art shop can do all the art work for you, simple. You can even start by using a 60 in 1 pcb as the game is on there.

not so easy to find suitable cabs here :/.. also I got the original pcb so would love to make a "proper" cab for it

Cant find any stern plans that look like this thou
