Having successfully installed the board, I realised I put the CPU in the wrong way round (and as such the adapter), thankfully I double checked my work before installing into the game!

Unfortunately, on removing the board, a pin bent slightly and upon straightening it out it snapped!

You can see it's from the header pins underneath the CPU socket, so would need to remove the CPU socket first.

I've ordered the header pins to replace the single row, but I'm worried I'll make a hash of it, since everything seems to be going wrong recently so looking for anyone who could maybe help with this?

It might be a good idea to replace that 40 pin socket as well as it looks like 5 pins on it are bent out of shape/damaged.

It's possible to replace just the one pin instead of the row. Cut the plastic between the broken pin and the one next to it,de solder the one pin and replace it with a good one.
