True. For clarities sake, my deleted posts weren't expletives and name-calling at all, but for the sake of drama it was better to have them all gone and put a stop to it.
Let’s just move on and wait for the final result from those involved.
Pictures from the recovered haul is all we need now as the whole thing seems to have gone pear shaped.

Oh boy. Well if it's any consolation, the current gen arcade community often try to outdo each other or get the latest games first.
Like backstabbing over which server you're on, withholding game data to give to some arcades before others, spreading rumours about the playable condition of cabs lol
I only got into the industry 4 years ago when it was a miracle there were still current gen arcade gamers as it is. Thought everyone would be happy to help each other out. But it's pretty cut throat. Don't know why everyone can't just have fun and enjoy the games.

I think next time you find a stash (and I'm certain you will) you'll handle it differently and learn from this experience which is in the long run I suspect going to be an advantage to you.
We won't delete the thread, we don't really do that here. I think some good may still come of it, at the very least as a warning to anyone else who might come into a similar position in future to tread carefully, get in, grab everything, get out, then share with the world.

Well it's done and dusted now. Get the pics back up at the begining of the thread and lets move on the the next one.
I actually had a former op take 2 or 3 calls about his stash whilst we were in the pub shaking hands on the deal over a beer.
I had the opportunity one time from on here about a "raid" but was out of the country so had to pass.
Have a chat with some of the mods on here if you have need of assistance in future. They have raided more than a few times and know how to manage things securely. At least 4 times that I know of recently.
Cold, hard cash speaks volumes. Make the deal at the time and take the stuff asap. Otherwise this is what happens.

Glad it’s all done. I’ll just tell you the story of how at arrived at Andy’s door no opinions just cold hard facts
Mystic asked Bodypop, Flinster, Amc and I to form a team to get this done as he couldn’t complete it.
We formed a WhatsApp group so we could communicate together, i formed a second group so between the raid guys we could decide as adults what we wanted, I thought we was all happy at this point.
Unfortunately we still hadn’t heard from Amc in the group.
We all decided when how and when it would go ahead, mystic informed the op and the deal was done on how much they wanted for all of it. We still hadn’t heard from Amc.
On Friday one of the group declared Amc a sniper, yes imagine what this did to everyone, by the evening the person said he had made a mistake and Amc was not a sniper declaring himself out of the raid. I decided as we still had not heard from amc to text him and try and arrange a phone call that was suitable for him to try and sort things out. He rang me that night and we had what I thought was a good call. We can to a conclusion in the phone that Flinnster got the Outrun, Bodypop got the hangon upright. I would take the simpsons, turtles, Sega rally stand up and time crisis twin, Amc would take the rest which was around 11 cabinets. Amc also asked me where the raid was, I said I’d call him on Monday and we would go through the details.
I came of the phone and text the group that was a good call but not to release the location until we were ready to do the raid, one person in the group decided to give him the location.
On Saturday morning I got a call from mystic and someone had been in and tried to get ten machines for less than Mystic had done the deal for?! Odd but there you go. The op called me and I informed him I said we are supposed to be doing it wednesday as per Mystic’s agreement. He agreed.
On Sunday I had another call from the op and was told the the person who went in on Saturday had upped his offer and would I beat it. I said I didnt want to get involved in a bidding war. The op was fair and told me that they need the stuff clearing but need as much money as possible for the stuff...fair enough, it is his stuff after all. We had a long conversation where he stated he’d rather not deal with the person from Saturday but again wanted to clear the lot with no hassle and for the best price possible, to be honest that is fair enough!
With all this falling apart I called Mystic and discussed finding another buyer for the stuff so I could wash my hands of it, he agreed. I also got in touch with Andy at the arcade club as I knew he had the means just to get this done. I told Andy I wanted to pass the sale onto him as I had had enough of the drama, also the cabinets would end up
In a good place. I talked to Andy and put him in touch with the op. The rest was out of my hands.
Did we get played by the op? who knows, all I know it got very out of hand very quickly and things have been said that shouldn’t have. I’m personally sorry if I have offended anyone!
This has been a good lesson for all us raid noobs like me! and a series of stupid events which led to an unfortunate outcome for all of us. I personally have no interest in doing another even if I stumbled acros it all myself!!
Anyway time for a break from the forums for me, I hope it all works out the best for everyone and I’m glad they are going to end up in the arcade club for all to enjoy. Sorry for the guys that didn’t get what they wanted however it was never ours to start with.
