Hi, i've got a Mr Do table top as the pic shows, it had all been working fine then one day the screen went blank, I've had Vectorglow have a look at the board and theres no real fault there so i wondered if anyone knew of someone that could look at the machine and monitor? Arcade direct seem to think they can fix it but also wondered if anyone had used them before?

Any help or advice would be greatly appriciated

thanks

I suspect the tube is a Hitachi. Make sure you're identifying it by the chassis, not the tube!

Andrew96 will already know this, but the OP may not.

Unfixable? What's that word mean?

yes sure, if it is that hitachi monitor then the reason i know about it is because i had one in my tabletop cab and was a bit of a bugger to get working properly as no one knew anything on it, was met by a wall of silence!! even getting the circuit diagram for it! but i persisted got the diagram and fixed it!

Awesome cab! I've not seen a tabletop before. Lmk if you ever want to sell it!

Rav had issues getting the monitor repaired before I bought his Mr Do! So he dropped a new monitor in. Maybe he still has the bits if you need some parts?

Ha! my wife would kill me if i ever sold it! plan is to restore it taking inspiration from the stand up cab, sadly while I'm happy to create the graphics and do the simple stuff I'm next to useless on the electronics.
