MTC 9110 sync issues

I’m having sync issues with this mtc 9110 that was in the neo geo cabinet.

I’ve recapped it today but it’s not helped.

I notice if I turn the horizontal sync all the way to the right the monitor shuts off

Any ideas?

I tried it both ways it made no difference

there are a few odd faults that cause this, start with sync processor and then check C28 and C29 and the transistors in the sync circuits
is the 12v healthy at TP12

Yeah I have 12v at tp12 I will check c28 and c29 and try an ic out of the other chassis (though I don’t know if that’s working either)

If it shuts down when the H sync pot is turned up or down, you have an HV shut down. Most likely some caps in the flyback horizontal section. I don't have the schematics at hand now.

Also do you have an commont ground between the video source GND (neo-geo) and monitor GND?
