My Complete Cab History 2007 -2014

I got my first cab from a guy in Leyton who was selling coverted Jamma cabs on ebay 2007. The monitor had been swapped for a PC monitor, so I ended up completely restoring the cab. Sprayed the cab, completely rewired it and added a new jamma loom, built a new control panel, installed a brand new 20" Hantarex Polo 3 I got from Brent Electronics.
My next cab was an Atomiswave SD I got from Tony who ran Killercabs. It was one of his last cabs. It was in great condition and just needed a clean up and new artwork. It already had an Egret 3 CP and I managed to get new Egret 3 artwork and Illumination panel from Taito, so changed it to an E3 as they are exactly the same. My next cab was the Golden Tee cab I got from Edmonton Machines Ltd. The monitor had bad burn so I managed to get a brand new 25" Polostar tube direct from Hantarex (also picked up another Brand new 20" Polo 3 while I was there) Then managed to get a brand new Polostar chassis from Brent Electronics and had it all set-up by the monitor tech as AK Amusements.
I was then lucky enough to get a NOS Naomi New Net City from Andygeezer. Andy had managed to get a batch of new Naomi's from Sega that had Sanwa PFX monitors in. Andy converted it properly to a NNC with brand new Japanese legs that he imported rather than just cutting it down. I then saw a black Naomi on Arcade Otaku and thought it looked great, so I got another NOS Naomi off Andygeezer, fully stripped it down and had it professionally painted black.
My next project was my first driving cab. I got an empty Sega Rally shell from Mo at Videotronics. I had all the metal worked stripped and powder coated, did a major restore of everything and got loads of new parts direct from Sega including a new Sanwa PFX, monitor surround, dashboard and full Sega Race TV artwork. Was really happy with the result, but I really wanted to be able to race against mates, so decided to turn it into a twin, but this time the cab I started with was a Club Kart I got off ebay. I did exactly the same to the second cab, but Andygeezer did me an extra loom with an immersion pcb, so I could add a Happ wheel in the future.
In Feb 2011 I had the garage done out, as I had to get my Cabs out of the house to prepare a nursery
I then got the Patchislo and that was my last cab for a while. Until I was given permission to get one more and picked up the Egret 2 from Retrorepair, which I'm nearly finished restoring.
