One arcade closes... Another opens....

Sorry for being tardy at posting after the weekend, I spent Thursday and Friday along with Mark and Anthony clearing out the old place and was absolutely knackered by the end of Saturday. Did nothing but sleep mostly on Sunday.
HUGE thank you to everyone for coming along and helping out, I was so impressed with how well it all took shape so quickly and we got around to playing a few machines before people had to start heading back home again.
Snap584 brought literally an army with him - his kids are totally fearless at moving machines - I can see great potential.....
I took a few pictures over the last few days but didn't take many on Saturday as to be honest, I felt a bit guilty stopping to take pictures while everyone else was working like mad.
Here's the old second lair cleared out
On Friday I got a snap after moving the last of my stuff in:
Then we did some setup....
And finally later that night i'd been in the back of every machine in that group and got...
I know everyone is gagging for an announcement on some kind of official opening date, we'll confirm later this week for definite.
It will be either 7th or 14th June. We were planning end of May but circumstances and schedules are going to push that back a week at the very least.

Anyone who took any video I would love it if you could save the files and next time I see you get a copy so I can integrate them into a future making of - don't be shy about the audio, it'll make it more interesting.

A fun and very exhausting few days. Met some great people during the massive game of Tetris on Saturday. Most amusing at times as imagine trying to play Tetris at the same time as several other people. You move one cab out of the way to find out somebody else has moved it somewhere else moments later. How many times did we move Robotron?
Got easier as we finally started to clear spaces, was major awkward at the start tho.
I also have a blue/black toenail after getting it run over by the heavy B*stard that is outrun deluxe.
Never seen so many kids so excited about doing some physical work too!

It's a game I never really gave any time to as a kid because of the unusual (for the time) controls, but I definitely want to get into it more.
