The best story of the day was when the other Op turned up and mentioned that they would both drive to London docks to pick up Taito Space Invaders directly from the docks.

They also said they have pix of their arcades from 'back in the day' and will dig them out for me.

One of them operated Carousel Amusements up near Minehead.

One of them operated Carousel Amusements up near Minehead.

That's the big one on the sea front IN Minehead. Now known as "The ArKade" (formerly K's). Would definitely love to see some pics of that back in the day. I was there for it's opening but i was very young, so consequently more interested in the Disney characters wandering about than the arcade itself
