If it is too far gone no, but i'd have a good look around - wouldn't be surprised if the cabs still had their pcbs. I'd defo get those!

There are some fruit machines and arcade machines in a room in the former Hellingly asylum, in East Sussex.
At least there were a few years ago anyway.
Unfortunately they were/ are in a very poor state, and I doubt the owners would have much interest in allowing anyone to go in and even look at them, let alone clear them

According to OP there are a few other machines there, got to be worth a look if you're close

Ive read Lukes post and it just says a 'possibility' of more cabs.

To go from that to '
According to OP there are a few other machines there,' is a bit of a stretch imo. talk about chinese whispers.

or are we talking about a different forum OP?

I've looked at two flickr sets of the place, plus all the reports on urbex sites. There does seem to be a puggie in one room;

Don't think that's the original side art on that cab.

The reason I said possibility was because in the urbex forums they only had pictures of Crossbow. They do mention there being more machine but none of them have an images.

If I was close and I drove, I would say its worth a look. And even if you didn't want it, someone else might

Hellingly was levelled last year, not long after we talked about it briefly at the mecca (shame a meet-up didn't happen, but distance was in my favour!)

didn't see any golden-era gems there, what was had been abused

i see the tagger JACKPOT has added his contribution to the side of a machine :)

would enjoy the challenge of bringing that mullered EWN back to life

would probably take a while to track down a replacement reel glass and there's the risk the opportunity to acquire a
well-stored complete example for a reasonable price might present itself just after having
spent a long time putting the trashed one back together but worth the hassle for the satisfaction in saving it and seeing it come to
life after so many abandoned years (hope it turns out to be in the south tho, with fuel prices what they are)
