Yeah would have been good to pay a visit to have a look, but distance was a problem. I don't seem to get out to do any urbex these days...

Thanks for the link and yes that's the place where i've been today.
The operator who 'owned' the machines in the picture now lives in Australia, but his old partner had the other half of that building which he says is not pictured.
They moved out 18 years ago and left some stuff because they had no room across the yard where he is now. They moved out because the new owner of the building told them too move and then he sealed up the buliding and it's not been touched apart from a few 'explorers'
He doesn't think the owner will allow it to be opened up, but i'll ask him again when i get chance and he did say that ebay was not around then so he may take a look himself.
The building he's in now was used by ITV for the filming of Inspector Frost.

I didn't know Martin was into Urbex 
Shame the Crossbow machine wasn't spotted back in 2007
The pics of it then, looked like it was pretty much complete apart from poss screen, back door and coin door, shame some muppet broke the glass by 2008 and now it's got all the marquee ripped off and damage on the side in places
I used to love looking round old buildings when I was younger, found some usefull bits at an old farm building one, the bird skeleton in the cage was a bit freaky though

This is a link to a page showing more up to date images of strathore hotel/hospital.....dated may 2012. Looks like it may have been clearly recently? Shame....but still worth a look if anyone is near enough. Plus the up-loader states that its a doddle to get in.
