Received an email about a new thread but the thread doesn't exist

An admin may have had to move it to the right topic forum.

The OP is a new user, so they automatically get a period of needing their posts approved by a mod/admin. This is another layer to help manage spammers/bots/etc

I guess the forum software still notifies any sub-forum watchers of a new post, regardless
